Same with other New Generation Banknote Series peso bills, the obverse side of the new 100-peso bill seems to show a "younger" Roxas. Aside from the inauguration of the Third Philippine Republic, this 100-peso bill also shows La Intendencia, or the old Central Bank building in Manila. The reverse side of the New Generation Banknote Series 100-peso bill features images of the Mayon Volcano in Albay province, whale shark (Rhincodon typus), and a portion of Bicol weave design.
