*** I Love You Sabado is the first known movie collaboration between real-life father and son Ronaldo Valdez and Janno Gibbs. The movie is also released by Viva Films through the family-oriented subsidiary Viva Family Entertainment.
*** Janno Gibbs plays the role of Juan de la Cruz lead vocalist of a fictional rock band called 1's N'4 All. In a mall scene, Juan magically swims through the air as he sings, "Gusto kong mag-swimming sa balong malalim." (Tagalog: "I want to swim in the deep well). This is a nod to the song "Balong Malalim" by the real-life Juan de la Cruz band.
*** Arnel Ignacio plays the role of rock singer Hep Hibang in Bangers, a movie that would be released two weeks later. (Further details can be read in another entry in this post).
