Young Ipil-Ipil Trees

I am grateful that our backyard accommodates many kinds of trees, one of which is the ipil-ipil. Scientifically   known as Leucaena leucocephala, the tree has a wide array of uses, such as firewood and livestock fodder. The ipil-ipil tree bears flat, green pods that can be used for food when young.
