Sonny Parsons, the Sharpshooter, in "Capt. Rassul Alih: Hindi Sayo ang Mindanao"

Capt. Rassul Alih: Hindi Sayo ang Mindanaoa film starring Sonny Parsons opened in theaters on January 20, 1993. This Magdalena Films production also stars Fred Moro, Melissa Mendez, Lani Lobangco, Patrick dela Rosa, Edgar Mande, Erick Borbon, and Paquito Diaz. Parsons directed the film with Jerry O. Tirazona:

Prior to becoming an action star, Sonny Parsons (born Jose Nabiula) was known as a member of the all-male music group Hagibis. He also ventured into politics, winning as councilor of Marikina City. 

A shooting enthusiast, Parsons put his skills to good use when he pursued and shot robbers who had tied him and household members in 2002. A year later, he stopped men who attempted to blow up his houseIn 2005, he shot and wounded suspected holdup men.
